Pleased to have my doggie home again! She must have known it was my mom's decision to get her spayed because when we went to pick her up she stuck her nose up at my mom ... I guess she wasn't very impressed. Well, if a family quarrel ever arises, I now know who to recruit to my side first. She is still quite groggy, but that doesn't prevent her from being overly stubborn when it comes to taking the medicine...what a hassle that was. No chance of her having cute, little, fluffy puppies anymore... oh well.

Waiting can be quite daunting. It gives me too much time to think and worry. I can only hope nothing goes wrong. Gah, feeling helpless is quite horrible. It saddens me to think of her in a small cage… alone… I hope she knows we didn't abandon her. She didn't know what was going on, but I promised her she would be okay… and although she may not have understood, it wasn't right of me to do that. Anything could go wrong. People always make mistakes. It is no use trying to avoid the inevitable. I hated leaving her by herself. And to think that some people, in a split-second, can abandon their pet just like that.
